Acting on a tip from local residents, and on the instructions of senior officers, the Kulsumpura Police brought him safely to Amma Nanna Orphanage in Choutuppal. According to the police, this was done to make sure a helpless man roaming without any care could finally get shelter and protection. Some local residents gave us information about him, and on the instructions of our Circle Inspector, Mr. Ramulu, we brought him to Amma Nanna Orphanage. When we asked him questions, he told us his name is Ganesh Sahu, his father's name is Lakshman Sahu, and that he's from Bihar. But because of his condition, we haven't been able to get much more information out of him."

Once he reached the orphanage, Ganesh was taken straight to the in-house medical facility, where doctors gave him a preliminary check-up. He was clearly very hungry, so he was given a proper meal, which he ate with visible relief.
