Om Sri Gurubhyo Namah, Hari Om. Salutations to Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy, accompanied by the twelve great Jyotirlingas, Jaya Siddhi Vinayaka, and Goddess Manikyamba, residing at the Amma Nanna Nathula Punyakshetram, a sanctuary for the destitute in Choutuppal Mandal of the Yadadri region. This sacred institution, known as Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam, serves vulnerable individuals with love, compassion, and dedication. On September 21, 2026, during the holy month of Bhadrapada in the Parabhava year, an Annadana (charitable food distribution) program was conducted with great devotion. This noble initiative was organized in loving memory of the late Sai Krishna Prasad, of the Chanamolla Gotra from ECL, Hyderabad, and on the death anniversary of the late N. Shashikanth. We pray to Lord Parameshwara to grant eternal peace to their sacred souls. With their divine blessings, Aruna garu personally supervised the arrangements and served food to the 500 residents, including individuals with intellectual disabilities and those in need. May the donors be blessed with happiness, peace, and prosperity.
My name is Jalaja Kumari, and we have come from Newmar Nagar, near Esara Nagar. We offer our heartfelt salutations to Sri Shankara Guruji, the founder of this wonderful sanctuary for the destitute. This was our first visit to the ashram, although our son had visited earlier and told us about it. We came today after learning that the aunt and sister-in-law of a boy whose death anniversary falls on this day had arranged a meal in his loving memory. After visiting the premises, we were deeply impressed by the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful temples, and excellent maintenance of the ashram. The presence of the Shiva temple and other shrines creates a spiritual environment that makes visitors feel connected to the Divine.
The residents of this ashram are innocent and vulnerable individuals, including people with intellectual and cognitive disabilities who need special care and attention. By the grace of Guruji, the doctors and staff demonstrate extraordinary patience, dedication, and compassion in caring for everyone. They ensure that the residents are bathed, fed on time, given their necessary medicines, and treated with dignity. We were especially impressed by the staff's responsible attitude, their willingness to answer our questions, and the cleanliness of the entire premises despite the large number of residents. Such devoted service and well-maintained surroundings reflect the commitment and blessings behind this noble institution. The Annadana Seva organized here represents a meaningful act of kindness, providing food and comfort to those who need support.
Visiting this ashram touched our hearts and reminded us of the importance of helping those in need. Although we may visit temples and make donations in our daily lives, seeing the residents and understanding their needs inspires us to do even more. I sincerely encourage everyone to visit this shelter and contribute whatever they can according to their means. Even a small donation can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these residents. Contributions can help provide nutritious meals, sweets, and special treats on birthdays and other occasions, bringing smiles and happiness to their faces. Through Charity and Food Donation, we can bring comfort to vulnerable individuals and help create a more compassionate society. Every act of generosity, no matter how small, can make their lives brighter and more joyful.
I humbly request everyone to support Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam and participate in this noble service. By sponsoring Annadana for the helpless and vulnerable residents, you can share love, compassion, and hope with those who need it most. If you are unable to visit the ashram personally, you may send your contribution to support the food service. Your generous support helps provide meals to the needy, while prayers will be offered at the Shiva temple in your name. May Lord Parameshwara bless every donor and their family with peace, happiness, good health, and prosperity. Through Annadana Seva, charitable service, and feeding those in need, may we all receive divine blessings and the spiritual merit of our good deeds. Namaste.
